My Week In Bullet Points
- Oh really. In the last email you overslept. Then when the (intentionally extremely restrictive) make up time I sent you was inconvenient, NOW you’re suddenly sick. Poor you.
- Hey. You. You in the meeting two feet from my desk in a 8ft square concrete room. I’m not part of your meeting. This is my office too. Use your inside voice. And turn off your damn cell phone.
- It isn’t that I don’t believe you’re a Special Forces sniper. It’s just that I’m skeptical. Particularly when you volunteered that information out of no where for no apparent reason.
- I am currently bidding a fond farewell to the last bottle of my first batch of bourbon porter.
- I forgot to include several applicable certifications on my application to be an Astronaut. I realized this today, the day the application window closed. It isn’t a huge deal. Mostly I just find it entirely awesome that I exceed the qualifications to be an astronaut.
- I am not going to a party tonight.
- This is the first evening of the week that I haven’t had to come home from work and get to work finishing another job.
- I would dearly love for someone to come home and cook me dinner.

While volunteers were gathering signatures to recall him from office, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was allowed to receive campaign donations of unlimited size. Never one to shy away from talking to rich people, over the last five weeks Walker used this opportunity to raise$1,000,000 from just four donors, and over well $2,000,000 from 33 donors
During his time as governor, Scott Walker has conducted an assault on the middle class in order to make a small number of rich people even richer. While this has given him a big financial advantage for the recall fight, it has not bought him the love of the people of Wisconsin.
Scott Walker is such a dirtbag. I can’t wait for the people of Wisconsin to drive him out of politics forever.
I can’t even begin to describe all the trouble this guy has caused in my life.
I can quit anytime.

For the love of whatever you hold holy, when you shovel your walk and find 1/4” of ice on the pavement, salt that fucker. Unless of course whatever you hold holy is watching people fall on their asses. In which case you can expect some religious persecution from this quarter…
Event 2:
The five minutes immediately following your class are for you. The five minutes immediately preceding my class are for me.
When you and I are teaching the same class and you are using my equipment and demos it is entirely fine to decide that you want to have five groups instead of six. It is entirely not fine to dismantle the sixth station and spread the equipment all over the room.
And then stay late.
And not put anything back.
And not erase the board.
Problem solved.
Do work. Get stressed. Start hurting. Just in time for the doctor.
